TE MARANUI Plongée - Tevaitoa pass






			The Tevaitoa pass Experience: Level 1 Itinerary: 35 minutes Type of diving: Coral Max Depth: 35 meters This diving is located on the west coast of raiatea, at the entrance of the pass of tevaitoa. The current is never that strong, it’s not necessary to drift. At 25 meters, a sort of ark opens to the wall, which leads to a cylindric shaft that goes up to the surface. A second shaft quite large, allows divers to enter into it. All around, the rock is decorated by coral Distichopora multi color variations (blue, orange, pink, white). It’s essentially a coral dive but we can sometimes meet “carangues grosses tête”, “tortue” or “napoleons” by cons the “nudibranches” are often present.
